COMPANY HISTORY

Liquid Graphics, Inc (doing business as “Liquid inc”) was founded in 1999 by Eric Winslow. Eric started his design leadership at Coors in-house creative services and was a part of the transition of that team into what would become The Integer Group. After many years at Integer and another local agency, Eric decided to start Liquid inc. From humble beginnings in a garage studio to the hiring of his first official employee in 2002, he remains the chief creative officer at Liquid inc.

Liquid inc began its story by working with local agency contacts and start up companies, earning its stripes developing everything from business cards to award winning packaging to contributing pro bono work in order to build a reputation for its art and services. In 2005, Liquid inc went through a process of remaking itself as a strategic, design and interactive agency founded primarily on the belief that a brand and the execution supporting that brand should not be looked at individually — but that everything must be explored and executed with a 360° view.

Liquid inc is now in its third formal studio location and has grown with clients of all shapes and sizes. Today, Liquid inc works with small businesses as well as muti-billion dollar international companies developing strategic marketing plans and the vehicles that execute them. How did we arrive at the name Liquid inc? As we all know, liquid is formless — that is, until you give it shape. Imagine, if you will, pouring a pitcher of water into a glass. You are giving the water its shape by placing it in a vessel. The same could be said for a vase, an ocean, a river, a lake, a raindrop, etc. The point is that there are many shapes that a liquid can take. The same is true with ideas. With our name, we are making visual the idea that our sharp people give smart shapes to innovative ideas so that they can be practically applied in the marketing world.
